Sydney was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.  She started dancing at the prestigious ballet studio, Lauridsen's Ballet Centre in Torrance, California at the age of four.  After a few short years at Lauridsen's Ballet Centre, Sydney joined the South Bay Ballet Company at the age six and stayed with the company until she graduated high school at the age seventeen.  At Lauridsen's Ballet Centre she trained heavily with Ballet technique along with Modern, Jazz and Ballet Contemporary and started her teaching skills at age sixteen.  Along with training at Lauridsen's with South Bay Ballet, Sydney was a part of her high school Co-ed Choreo Dance Team at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School where she performed and competed in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Swing and Musical Theater.  The Palos Verdes Peninsula Co-ed Choreo team won several first place metals in their division.

After high school, Sydney was accepted and attended the number two dance school in the nation, University of Arizona School of Dance with a scholarship.  At the University of Arizona, Sydney studied Ballet, Jazz, and Modern with amazing faculty such as, Sam Watson, Doug Nielsen, Michael Williams, Susan Williams, and Tammy Dyke.  While dancing and rehearsing multiple times a day, Sydney found the time to teach Jazz Funk, Contemporary, and Hip Hop at the Recreation Center for three years.  In 2012, Sydney got the opportunity to study abroad the the University of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia and teach at a dance and fitness studio in the city.  At her time in Australia, Sydney also trained with the Chunky Move under artistic director, Anouk van Dijk, and at the Ministry of Dance where she was signed with their talent agency under, Jason Coleman.  Upon her arrival back to the United States of America, Sydney finished her studies at the University of Arizona while joining the Pride of Arizona, Arizona Pomline.  On the Arizona Pomline, Sydney performed at all home NCAA Arizona Wildcat football and basketball games, as with charitable events and special appearances.

Now that Sydney is back in Los Angeles, she is building her career as a professional dancer with McDonald Selznick Associates Agency (MSA), as an event planner with her own company, Saash Event Planning, Designing and Styling, and as a joyful dance teacher at Endeavor School of Dance.  Sydney is more than happy to share her passion for dance and teaching with her students everyday!
