Ballet

Nicole Dougherty, a Southern California native, has been involved in dance for over 20 years. She currently is teaching at Dance West in Los Alamitos and has choreographed for Metropolitan Ballet as well. Nicole's choreography has won many awards. She has won awards in Italy "Dance Grand Prix Italia" as well as international competitions in Prague and Spain. Her works have been performed at the Orange County performing Arts Imagination Celebration, The Ivar Theatre in Hollywood, Dance in the Desert in Palm Springs and RDA, The Choreographers Showcase in Richmond Washington. She continues to be a resident choreographer with Dance West and The Metropolitan Ballet.
