Dance

Evyn Davis came from a family of tap and jazz dancers and fell in love with ballet at the age of seven. She joined the training school at Lauridsen Ballet Centre in Torrance (CA) and performed with their pre-professional ballet company for the next ten years. During that time, she studied with Charles Maple, Lorin Johnson, Kenneth Walker, Colleen O'Callaghan, and Alicia Head and cross-trained in Pilates, yoga, the GYROKINESIS method, and modern and contemporary dance. Evyn attended Juilliard's prestigious summer dance intensive in 2009 and has since then performed with Kenneth Walker Dance Company for three seasons. She is currently undergoing certification in the GYROKINESIS method and practices daily yoga and meditation while teaching ballet, modern, and conditioning at various studios in LA and the South Bay.
